A Betws y coed Christmas

The village of Betws-y-Coed, located in the Conwy valley, North Wales, are celebrating Christmas in style, with an exciting series of festive events that includes a real Christmas ice rink, late-night shopping opportunities, and delicious seasonal refreshments.

A candlelit procession of local children through the village will be accompanied by choirs and brass bands, while other highlights include a treasure hunt, local crafts, and live reindeer!

Olympic Torch lights up Log Cabins In Wales.

Next July marks the start of the 2012 Olympic games in London, and in the run up to the event the Olympic torch will be carried around the UK, including an extensive tour of Wales.
